Dear Helpmate Technology,

In my previous pastorates, I took the time to write data base programming for our church needs.  Little was available and most of the church management software that was available was either cost prohibitive or limited in form and function.  This programming took lots of time away from the central pastoral tasks I was called to do.  When we birthed Ridgeland Community Church, I was intent upon finding a church management software product that met the following criteria:

• It had to be able to grow with us from start-up to any size reached in the future.

• It had to accommodate the various data needs of a congregation with mixed family units, multiple household addresses, multiple congregations and worship times.

• It had to be expandable and faithfully supported to keep pace with the rapidly growing field of information technology.

• It had to have a module for the quick and accurate entry of tithes and offerings.

• It had to offer the many various and customizable data views and reports needed to quickly sort, assess and report data.

• And perhaps most importantly, it had to be EASY to learn so I would not have to spend valuable “pastor” time in training and support.

It has been almost seven years since we selected Church Helpmate.  It has met and exceeded all our criteria!  Not only that, but the staff at Helpmate Technology has been happy to dialogue about new ideas and recommendations and quick to add them when it resulted in a better overall product.  They are “Extra Mile” people who work diligently to stay ahead of the curve in the development of church related data software.  Now days, there are lots of church management solutions available.  But, knowing what I’ve come to know I’d still choose Church Helpmate and Helpmate Technology Solutions to meet our data needs.
